Frank in the East Village

hors: what Andy ate

Yesterday I wanted to enjoy some al fresco dining for lunch before going shopping with my friend.  Frank on Second Avenue offers a pleasant setting for this along with homestyle Italian food. Uncle Tony’s Handmade Gnocchi was a great pasta and extremely filling. The gnocchi were especially doughy and much more satisfying that any gnocchi I’ve had before.

The sausage hero was also a really great hearty sandwich. I always appreciate good homemade lemonade too, which reminded me of the pleasant summer-like weather.
