Mix 1 cup warm water, yeast and sugar. Stir to mix, and then let it stand for 5-10 minutes for yeast to be activated and begins to foam.
Mix the flour and salt in a large mixing bowl and mix it with a wooden spoon. Slowly add the yeast mixture and mix until the dough forms into a ball, and is not too sticky or dry (you may need to add more flour or water based on the texture). Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead to get a smooth and elastic texture.
Form the dough into a ball and place it in a oiled bowl and let it rest for 15-20 minutes in a warm environment, microwave has a stable temperature and good place for dough to rise. You can test the dough to make sure it’s ready by thumbprint test.
Move the dough to a floured surface and punch it down. Then shape the dough as you wish to round or rectangular flat dough. Brush some tomato sauce, add some shredded cheese (your choice), your favorite toppings and cover it up with more cheese and salt and pepper!!
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F, and put the pizza on the middle rack. Bake it for 15-20 minutes or till it’s golden brown!! Enjoy!!
