Although spring is right around the corner, the weather here is not warm enough for garden work just yet. To update my house and quench my desire for floral work this month – I made a couple batches of colorful sand and added in my collection of simple succulent plants.
This is an easy project that brings a vibrant color to succulent flowers. Perfect for a windowsill longing for spring, and great as a centerpiece on a table desperate for color. You can mix the sand to whatever color would perfectly brighten up your spring.
To make the colored sand you will use: sand (from the beach or purchased at a craft store), food coloring and a couple large baking sheets to let it all dry out on. See the full tutorial I designed, with tips for a quicker dry time, today at Project Wedding.
